A Brand New World - Gandhi

Great forces are directing you to conform to the patterns of your society. You have
DNA that has been handed down from generation to generation, coding repeated
behaviour patterns into your being. You have archetypal energies setting the
standards for how you behave as a man or a woman, as husband or wife, as father or
mother .... You are immersed in consensual reality, whereby the world around you
reflects societal understanding of how life has been and is to be.
At the same time, you have an even greater force within you inspiring you to wake up
and recognize the reality of who you are. This force, the creative power underlying
the entire universe, is urging you to create brand new standards of reality.
The status quo is blind to our creative power. Create a brand new world for
yourself, one that meets your deepest needs, and you will help raise the quality of
consciousness of the entire world.
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
-- Gandhi
Every morning, I look for something to inspire me to change the movement of my day away from any limitations, old beliefs, new beliefs, and habitual patterns of behavior. I want to be beyond belief! Everyday I want to try something new that is positive and takes me to my deepest purpose no matter how small beyond what I think I know.
This passage from Gandhi inspires me to open up to a new consciousness and create a new reality for myself. How do I do this? By doing something maybe just one thing new and different, or even doing something with new energy or vigor even if I have to fake it at first. These are the kinds of things or activities that interest me, but at the same time I can feel myself resisting on the inside.
For example, I am learning some chakra meditations. I am doing them, but I am not "DOING" them with heart and soul. So, this morning I put more vigor and energy behind it, and suprise I felt a lot better. It is like I have to get a bit crazy or pumped to get the motion going in a new direction. There is a lot to be said for stirring up positive emotional energy.
OR
Maybe it is not a doing, but a not doing, or a not thinking anymore. Maybe, I need to stop doing something that is yielding nothing towards my deepest purpose. It could be something simple as not doing something that I feel I have to do to be accepted and loved. We are all acceptable and lovable as we are.
Anyway, habitual patterns of thinking, acting, and believing often want me to stay right where I am. Sorry, not today. :o)
Lots of Love!
