This quote really helped me today to think of myself in ways that are bigger than before. Thinking, believing, and feeling this makes for possibility and motivations for achieving my goals

"How can a person stand up for himself in the true meaning of that phrase? By understanding that he does not consist of his acquired sense of self. This must be understood at the start. A man must see that his basic self is not made up of his memories, his self-pictures and his labels by which he feels himself to be a separate person who must compete with other people. Strangely, we stand up for ourselves by losing what we have called ourselves."

I would like to get your opinion in regards to this entry to my (humble) opinion about the many Me's that create myself, on my way to become ONE. Just like when I first started this whole journey. I love the picture!
Thanks for posting!
Leendert van Velsen
Here is my opinion, and it is only an opinion as you know. To me this confirms your conclusions Leendert of the many Me's. We (you and I) have them and believing we are any one of these Me's limits us.
Tearing down the walls, returning to the One, and letting our emotions flow openly expands our possibilities. To me that is another confirmation of what you say.
Perhaps this also suggests that the One is not limited by any previous definitions of ourselves or is beyond the total of all the previous Me's. Maybe it suggests that we move beyond any definition of self and consider possibilities we had not previously considered.
So moving to the One is embracing the mystery, allowing myself to be on an adventure and discovery. Like a child (your One Kid), we live fully and move spontaneously according to feeling to discover who we really are which goes past all those many Me's.
I am like you. I tear down walls. There are people I know that easily drop their roles or Me's or Walls and jump into new roles and play “act as if” they are a new Me. Then, they receive all that goes along with that adventure. If they resonate with that path then they develop it deeper. If they don't like where they are at, they learn from it, throw it off, and move to something else.
I am a more contemplative personality. I seek spaciousness and deeper presence beyond all definitions. Others are here to play and engage and see different Me's as the play of Leela. I don't think it matters on the approach. All that matters is we move to higher ground of being as we are moved.
Did you reach a similar conclusion? Did this help at all?
Yes, thank you. I believe the ultimate short term goal is to integrate all the Me's back to One Whole being, so I fully acknowledge this. I also find by presenting 7 Archetypes, anybody can identify with at least one of them. As soon as the me pop's up all I have to do is show compassion and the right me will respond with the speed of thought, this is all manageable, it is very childlike to stay behind one archetype and deny all the others. Most people who do that were Hurt in their childhood, or somewhat later. But I am also sure healing is possible if I want to be truly healed and I follow a certain (narrow) path.
Thanks for your rich comment, looking forward to more of your writings,
