Time to Change Direction?

Posted on Mar 13th, 2006 by Zennie : Earl of Essence Zennie
I am finding that in this busy world that what feeds my goals is my primary mission in life. So, for me, that means there may be some things that I am doing that I need to stop because they do not feed my deepest purpose and most profound love. Here is a quote I read this morning that really helped me dedicate to that at a deeper level.

"Time To Change Direction?"

"Employ the power of positive quitting. Most of us view quitting as something negative, but it's not. ‘Winners never quit,' we're told, when, in reality, winners quit all the time: choosing to stop doing things that aren't creating the results they desire. When you quit all the things that aren't working for you, when you quit tolerating all the negative things that hold you back, you'll create a positive ‘charge' in your life as well as create the space in your life for more positive experiences."

Hey Zennie:) I’ve also been giving a lot of thought to this and I like how Allen phrased this, the “power of positive quitting. It’s difficult. But, as you said, certain things we do might get in the way of realizing our goals and ultimately our vision. Thanks for sharing this as it’s given me more momentum to consider this in my own life.

thanks:)

Thank you for stopping by Roelke!!! Yes, I loved the unique way this message was shared with the term positive quitting.  I am working on getting back to the basics and simplifying.
