Have You Ever?

Posted on Jul 22nd, 2008 by Zennie : Earl of Essence Zennie

divine receptivity

Have you ever
just sat there
and opened yourself
to feeling?

Have you split
your inner body open
and let the divine
essence ravage you,
penetrate you,
and dance a jig
within?

Are you willing to
be the open
and receptive lover
attracting the attention
of the Beloved
inviting her to feast
at the banquet of your being
where everything is seen
touched
and tasted
no matter how beautiful,
no matter how apparently ugly?

If so,
then certainty you've
noticed
how the Beloved
makes love to us
all
day
long,
sumptuously
without conditions!

Oh Ben that is really such exquisite poetry.
Life in quite a dramatic turn stopped me in my well worn tracks a few years ago , for which I am now ever so grateful, so that I too could learn to see Life through new eyes.
My answer to this question your poem is asking is Yes, yes and yes ……
.
Thank you for sharing Radiant Self in this way.

I had a feeling that when you had time to rest on your vacation some beautiful pointers would issue forth. You have blessed us with these words today.

The image is divine, is it from Alex Grey?

Maha Love to you

Goodness! Well Thank you both soooo much. You are such wonderful beacons of love and inspiration for me!!

Yes, Christos, vacation time has given me the opportunity to open up to the words and feelings this poem attemtps to describe.

The art work is from Daniel Mirante

It is exquisite! I enjoy it as it points to the inner divine marriage of masculine and feminine within that the comment on his website so perfectly describes.

All can come home, be seen, and dissolve in the love we are. Jeannie Zandi inspired it!

Deepest Bow!
